About Galaxy Travelers
Galaxy Travelers started as an idea for a small part time traveling agent but soon turned into a much greater idea when I realized that our country (Republic of South Africa) has so much more to offer than just our local area. Do not get me wrong, I live in one of the most beautiful areas in the world with spectacular waterfalls surrounding my town. So close that I can see them from my porch. I guess you are a bit excited to know where exactly I live...
I live in a small forestry and tourist town called SABIE. It is situated in Mpumalanga, less than an hours drive from the famous KRUGER NATIONAL PARK. It is an honour to live here. The rest of my country is just as gorgeous as my area is with so many opportunities and activities that it is almost impossible to count. Since the year 1994 things in our country really changed.
I also noticed that the other citizens in my country do not get the opportunity to see the spectacular scenes in YOUR COUNTRY and other countries. Thus we made this global traveling service. Doing research on other countries I discovered what an amazing planet we have and everybody must be part of this spectacular place and see all that they possibly can of it.
What made me decide to do vacations is that I believe that people have a life that is to hectic, stressful, and even (I dare say) boring. A vacation is the ultimate escape from all that you do not enjoy in live. Nothing gives me more pleasure than seeing a honest SMILE of satisfaction and PEACE on someone's face.
Surly everyone dreams of traveling. A teenager wants to travel as soon as he gets his high school diploma and a university graduate as soon as she gets her qualification and the hard working dad will see the world as soon as he retires. I wanted to make at least one dream (that most people have) possible and a reality.
I enjoy meeting new people so much. Imagine meeting someone new from different countries in the world! People can be brought together through Galaxy Travelers. Can you think of any other way to meet new people and future friends than on a luxury group vacation? Being on a group tour can even ensure lifelong friendships.
I gathered all the help I could to start this project which turned into a good business that not only provide great opportunities but makes Collage and University possible for my sisters. Knowing how important education is, it is great to be able to help my sisters and other UNEMPLOYED members of society, not only in our country but WORLD WIDE.
I guess I just wanted to share some PERSONAL feelings and history about myself. It makes the quality of a trip so much better when you understand our personal feelings and most importantly have something truly valuable to take back after your trip.
